the telephone.

surfers to secure victory and win his first Queensland Open
Men’s title.

3. From Edition #4 September 2005: Where do we trace our
family clan name to?

Typographical errors in the birth records of Lincolnshire
records in the mid-1700’s. 11.1% 1
Huguenots who came from France in the late 17th Century, and
that “Jerrems” came from “Jerom” which in turn came from the
French “Jerome” or “Gerome”. 44.4% 4

Don’s comments: There appears to be some confusion on
the family name origin. We will have Ray provide a refresher
course on this topic.

4. From Edition #10 February 2006: Who’s image appeared
on a US minted medal in commeration of the American

Chick Keller’s grandfather William (the name William is
always a good guess in our family) 88.9% 8
Cindy in Washington DC USA; she has connections with the US

1. Hmmm, I have guessed most of these…. but we’ll see how
I go! Anita
2. The letter is a good read each month and I wish my kids
read it as well. Perhaps someday they will when their past
is of more interest to them. At first I often found it
difficult to follow but over time, I am beginning to see
some links and am able to recall some of the relationships.
